I'm an aspiring artist.....I've always loved drawing and painting.I work mainly in watercolours and gouache,but occasionally in acrylics.I love to paint flowers,landscapes,gardens and angels! I have a great fondness for victorian stone angels found in tangled old cemeteries from whence I get inspiration for some of my paintings.I don't find them morbid at all,but rather neglected,forgotten works of art....Maybe I'm an old 'goth' at heart! I'm immensely interested in music of many kinds and enjoy seeing live bands. I also have an interest in learning about other cultures and religions....I am a deeply spiritual person.
There are so many people I'd like to meet.....some departed from this life,but I'd love to meet my greatest musical heroine Patti Smith.Her poetry,writing and music really speaks to me and to see her play live is the most amazing experience I would have love to have met the wonderful talented Nikki Sudden.I regret not having seen him play live more than once.His observations on life,love and rock music were memorable and live on in his songs. I enjoy meeting creative,interesting people from all walks of life and those who are peaceful and spiritual no matter what their beliefs may be......You are all very welcome here. I'm not a huge fan of tv,in fact I've always thought what a great conversation killer it is.I do like the old re-runs of Touched by an Angel and Judging Amy on the Hallmark Channel.I also like CSI Miami,Grey's Anatomy and Rebus....just love John Stott!
