The Nancy A. Herrin Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable trust community support foundation. The foundation purpose is to distribute funds to sources throughout the state of Ohio that assist individuals and families by way of improving their livelihood.The Nancy A. Herrin Foundation Inc. will contribute to sources that give, help, support, and teach members in local communities throughout the state of Ohio. The foundation will contribute to sources that provide necessary knowledge, skills, and tools needed in order to live a prosperous and healthy life for themselves and/or their families. The main focus of the foundation is “simply helping others one donation at a time.” The foundation goals include: supporting community sources that help improve the quality of life for low-income and less fortunate children and adults, supporting community sources that inform, educate, and provide information for citizens necessary for community growth, supporting health and wellness organizations that provide assistance to those who are suffering from various diseases, illnesses, and disabilities, supporting special causes in memory of Nancy A. Herrin including brain tumor awareness and learning disability recognition, and emphasizing the importance of literacy and mental health by way of supporting local literacy and mental health programs. Literacy and mental health can work hand in hand in giving an individual a positive outlook in their future. Setting goals and achieving success aide in adding on to your list of accomplishments.The Nancy A. Herrin Foundation Inc. will help support those who strive to promote the importance of both causes in hopes that individuals young and old will take steps in everyday life to exercise the mind with useful and helpful knowledge.Your donations and contributions work for the Nancy A.
