Michael Deneau lead vocals and rhythm guitar: He picked up the guitar at age five and has been playing ever since, He has been writing and performing his own songs for many years, His lead vocals are reminiscent of Clapton; his early influences were Elvis, Willie Nelson, Santana and Led Zeppelin to name only a few. His passion for music only slightly outweighs his versatility and sheer talent. He composed the melodies and wrote the lyrics for the debut self titled release “Out of the Blue†Then the Band improved them…
Bass player Don DeGroft, who was born and raised in Pittsburgh, California, and began playing guitar in his twenties. Later on, he switched to bass guitar as a result of sibling pressure and was influenced by such blues greats as Ray Charles and others. Don has played with Mike for several years, and is one of the most talented bass players in the north state.
Drummer Jimmy Pryor influences include Stewart Copeland and The Dave Mathews Band just to name a couple. He has melded effortlessly with this band, lending his own talent, flavor and input for completion and balance.
Ruben Lopez is the lead guitar player, and is one of the hottest lead guitar players in Northern California. He has Santana like style that is filled with rich soul and feeling along with blazing speed and accuracy in each and every note. He attended the Boston Institute of Music for several years before moving to Mount Shasta and playing with the band.
Out of the blue recently wrote and recorded an adaptation from an A cappella song written by Willie Nelson called “A peaceful Solutionâ€. The song itself explores the harsh landscape of war through lyrics and the solo by Ruben Lopez is quite moving. The band Has released this song and is available for purchase on their myspace page now! Their debut self titled release “Out of the Blue†will be available on itunes stores including:
Rhapsody, Napster, Groupie tunes and Amazon MP3 in the early part of 2008.
Out of the Blue has made a pledge to the I.A.V.A.(Iraq Afghanistan veterans of America)To donate the proceeds they receive from the mp3 sale of “A peaceful Solution†as a gesture of appreciation to our brave Men and Women who serve our Nation.

SOUL BOMB

Soul Bomb is a hard rocking 4-member project from Gatineau, Canada that creates a strong and unique blend of heavy Electronica infused Rock. The members are Ian Bouchard (vocals, lead guitar), Math Menard (bass, back vocals), Jack MacGregor (drums, back vocals) and Paul Lafrenière a.k.a Laffy (lead guitar)
The band Soul Bomb, first came alive in January 2006 when 3 friends got together to create a unique sounding project. Math Menard (bass, back vocals) and former drummer, S.B liked some of Ian's pre-recorded compositions so much that the band decided to re-work and re-record the tracks using a different approach. Two new songs “Broken Down Angel" and "Got To Get Away" were also created out of inspiration and recorded.
A year later, 10 songs were recorded, an album was ready to be launched and venues were waiting to be rocked!
In October 2007, after former drummer S.B was dismissed from the band, Jack MacGregor became the band’s new drummer. Also, in January 2008, Laffy joined Soul Bomb to become a permanent member.
The band's dream is to tour the world, play music and perform for the rest of their lives.

THE NEW RASCALS

GENE CORNISH & DINO DANELLI

Some of the New Rascals songs include "People Got To Be Free, and Groovin' and Good Lovin'. The band features Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's Dino Danelli on drums and Gene Cornish, guitarist and original founding member of the Rascals (a.k.a. the Young Rascals) "Paragons of blue-eyed soul—that is, soul and R&B music by white performers. Other well-known purveyors include the Righteous Brothers, Steve Winwood, Van Morrison and Joe Cocker. However, no one among them had more commercial clout in the Sixties than the Rascals." Rock and Roll Hall of Fame The band also includes former Vanilla Fudge B-3 organist & lead singer Bill Pascali and original Tom Petty bassist Charlie Souza.
Sixties Hit-Makers Young Rascals Carry on as the New Rascals.
"The Young Rascals were one of the most productive good time bands of the late '60s and early '70s. Car radios across the nation tuned into a stream of hits like Good Love, Groovin' (on a Sunday Afternoon), and many more. The band was co-founded by Gene Cornish, with mentoring by Joey D (with the Starlighters). The band has many gold records and platinum albums. The band continues to enjoy popularity from the marketing world, as advertisers have found that adding a Rascals song to a commercial enhances a product's appeal. And since the royalties keep streaming in, this band would never have to work again, if they rested on their laurels.
Once you have made it to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, your fans will never let you down. And if you have sold your soul for rock and roll, you can never let your fans down. Gene Cornish, along with Drummer Dino Danelli, continue to tour as the The New Rascals. These two founders have added Bill Pasceli and Charlie Souza to round out the foursome and faithfully re-create the Rascals sound. Bill spent a few years with the Vanilla Fudge and Charlie laid down the Bass with Tom Petty's original Band.
I recently caught the band performing in Largo, Florida on a warm-up performance for their national tour, the band rocks. The performance was not promoted, and so the fans who showed up could hardly believe that this really was the Young Rascals, and not some plastic cover band. The set included - I've been Lonely to Long, Mustang Sally, Midnight Hour, You'd Better Run, A Girl Like You, and others. Guitarist Gene Cornish was all too willing to share love with his audience which gave the concert the feel of a high school reunion among life-long friends. In the audience, was fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Joey D, who started off as Gene's first boss in the music business. A fan in his sixties showed up wearing a Rascals tee shirt that he has cherished since the 1989 national tour. A husband and wife brought their 1970 vintage record album to be autographed by band members. Grandmothers and granddaughters danced together in the aisles. Groovin'? You betcha."

MELBA MOORE
"I'm Still here," written and produced by Shirley Murdock and her husband Dale Degrot, and several top notch songwriters promises to be worth the 10 year wait, and an awesome musical testimony of her trials and triumphant return to the elite inner circle of the artistic elements of this universe.
"Sweet Songs of the Soul," her two act one-woman play with music has been touted by critics as "Brilliant," "Authentic," "Inspiring," "Poignant," as well as proof that not only can she sing anything from "Gospel" to "Opera," but that she is absolutely gifted as a storyteller; literally mesmerizing her audiences!
She began her career in the ground breaking musical "Hair," where she originated the role of Dionne. During her 18 months in the show, she eventually replaced Dianne Keaton; becoming the first black actress to replace a white actress is a lead role on Broadway.
Her credits include "The Melba Moore / Clifton Davis Show," the mini-series "Ellis Island," R & B and POP hits "This Is It," "You Stepped Into My Life," and her Grammy nominated signature "song, "Lean On Me."
Directly on the heels of "Hair," came the role of Lutiebelle Gussiemae Jenkins, the innocent southern domestic who falls in love with a fast-talking preacher, in the long running musical, "Purlie," the role which launched her successful TV and recording career. Her show-stopping performance in "Purlie," won Melba the Tony Award for Best Supporting Actress In A Musical, again making her the first black actress to do so.
In 1996 history repeated itself the third time when Melba took over the role of "Fantine" in the Broadway musical "Les Miserables." She was the first Black actress to step into the leading role in that milestone Broadway musical.Ms. Moore is deeply spiritual, seeking daily wisdom from the Bible. She is an ardent advocate for the rights of children resulting in her "Melba Moore Foundation for Abused & Neglected Children."
This multifaceted artist / philanthropist is always reaching deeper, pressing harder, ever challenging herself; keeping her audience on the edge of their seats, knowing that whatever happens next will be at least, as exciting as what happened before.

"So, I think that?s the centerpiece of morality: Don?t lie. But to do that, you have to go a step further and find out what the truth is. You know, it?s easy to say, ?I?ll never tell a lie.? But if you say, ?I?m going to speak the truth,? you?re going to have to work damn hard to find out what the truth is. The next thing is just plain, old, simple kindness: to other people, to your family. Love for other people. I think that?s another very important part of morality, being genuinely compassionate and concerned about the feelings and well being of other people, especially those that depend on you directly."
