I enjoy reading, writing and arithmatic (but only adding up), I am making a film at the moment set around Nottingham and intend to do more when i find the right crew to work with. My pastimes include jamming, scamming and tramming, organising live music nights and testing out friend's sofas for durability, friction and ergonomic grading. I enjoy pushing my body to the limits of physical endurance and would like to think I can outeat, drink and smoke my contemporaries respectively, however, Scotch Whisky could be said to be my Kryptonite.
I like to give everyone three chances to let me down before I lose interest in them though I never forget a good turn and favours rarely go unrewarded.
I despise pretentiousness, affectation and falsity though I can bullshit with the best of them ( Hypocrisy is one of my strongpoints).
I enjoy the company of interesting yet deeply flawed men and attractive yet interesting women and one day hope to be the master of my own destiny, but I'm not quite there yet so will settle for being He-man... the master of the universe.

I also like chilling to ambient guitar based music like the type that can be heard on Amusement Parks On Fire, a local band to whom i like to give much heeded/appreciated advice and constructive critique when ever I feel they need it. If you get a chance you should listen to their album. It really is rather good!
Other than that, I can get my proverbial "rocks off" on most types of music though for contemplatative moods I have recently found myself leaning towards the likes of The Arcade Fire and Interpol and there will always be a special place in my heart for Pink Floyd.... they bring back memories of the stark, angst ridden halcyon days of wasted youth and they sometimes almost make me cry before I slap myself into a fit of self loathing!!
I enjoy a good discussion as much as the next fella though I try not to get too anal about music, there's only a certain amount of chords to go around and everyone sounds a bit like like someone else, Who ripped off/influenced who is an academic argument and though I may not be too popular for suggesting this on a music site, but one I find more than little bit tiresome. Why spend three hours at a party debating variations of this topic ALL THE TIME ???, no one ever backs down or concedes an issue and in the end like any other blokey conversations it turns into one big drunken penis competition, why not all just whap out the old chaps on the table, give yourself a rating in comparison with your peers, put em away then turn around and talk to someone you fancy about music, films, life or things you both like instead of you and your own unchallengable opinions of stuff you don't and hey, you might just find you have alot more in common than you'd thought, maybe she'll even take a shine to you and you'll get to sleep with each other....bonus!....unless she likes Keane, then it's game over, It was never meant to be!!
