BLOOD TSUNAMI

THRASH METAL out now on Candlelight/NAP

About Me

NEWS:
Blood Tsunami’s main priority nowadays is to write and rehearse the new material for their forthcoming album set to be released on Nocturnal Art Productions/Candlelight Records. (No releasedate confirmed yet)
The band will not play much live before the release of the new album, but they are still open for offers and will appear on stage every now and then.
DEAD SCENE REBIRTH WEBZINE - Review of Blood Tsunami live at The Corporation in Sheffield, UK on the 10th of May 2007:
"Band of the night for me though had to be Norwegian Thrashers Blood Tsunami. Heavy as they come and fast to boot, the crowd loved them as they battered through a relentless 40 minute set with no time for recuperation. Their tunes flowed well and their talent shines out like a light in the dark, thoroughly enjoyable, they could have played all night and the fans would have wanted more! (10)"
BIOGRAPHY:
Blood Tsunami formed in 2004 with Pete on guitar and vocals and Jay on drums. Soon Riff Randall joined on bass and Dor stepped in on the second guitar. Shortly after they recorded their first demo and on August the 24th 2004 they performed their first show ever, ...as support for the Swedish death metal legends Entombed. A few weeks later the band would also go on stage as the support act for the American death metal band Deicide.
The first line up of Blood Tsunami proved to be unstable and both Jay and Riff was replaced within the first year. Bosse, who previously used to play with Pete in the punk/rock band called Hellride, took over the bass and Faust (Scum, Aborym, ex-Emperor) soon joined on drums. The new line up quickly entered Lion Heart Studios and during three days in July 2005 they recorded another demo. The band continued playing live and soon built a good reputation as a ferocious live act in the Norwegian metal scene.
In September 2006 the band once again entered Lion Heart Studio in Oslo and recorded their debut album for Nocturnal Art Productions / Candlelight Records. The album, "Thrash Metal", was released on the 19th of March 2007 and has been very well received by both metalheads and metalpress. real editor best profile tools real editor best profile tools
