South of Heaven is a monthly metal club at Betong, Oslo. It is also the only place in Norway where you're guaranteed to hear Slayer. We aim to arrange gigs at least monthly, and also to put the spotlight on more or less unknown Norwegian unsigned bands. An ordinary SoH will cost you 20 NOK, which is way below the usual cover charge in Oslo and Norway. However, we also have South of Heaven Specials, with more familiar bands, and the price will (naturally) rise accordingly. We've had bands such as Cannibal Corpse, Kreator, Vader, Decapitated and Cryptopsy (first gig in Norway ever!), which we of course are very proud of, but we're even more proud to see bands break through and get a record deal after having played on SoH! Luckily, we're blessed with people who work voluntarily time after time, and not least - we're blessed with a great amount of people who visit South of Heaven EVERY TIME! Cheers to you all, hei skål!
