Ok, Please read all of this first so I wont get asked questions that would be already answered in this post. Raven Interviews/Eggs & Kegs show! is a radio show on New Artist Radio launched by the non profit Eye Of The Storm, Inc. Raven Interviews do benefit shows on behalf of Eye Of The Storm, Inc. so when we ask you if you can do a show, we usually ask you if you can donate your time. Here are some FAQ's:
Q: What is the benefit for?
A: Eye Of The Storm, Inc. help out victims of natural and weather related disastes, underpriviliged families and the homeless community. Many people ask us for assistance and we provide rather it be personal or group, Eye Of The Storm, Inc. even help people in other states, so the benefits are done to raise money and clothing so funds wont run out.
Q: How can I be part of the show?
A: By donating your time for the benefits, you're getting exposure in a big time way. Since Eye Of The Storm, Inc. is a non profit, press releases are sent out to various magazines, papers, stations etc. You will not only be heard during the show, but radio commercials and any other promotional material we do, you will be heard and seen.
Q: Where are your shows posted?
A: On the Raven Interviews profile page on myspace (this profile) you will see the calander of events toward the bottom of the page. Click the show to see if its been booked, if not send me a message to your site or where your music is online and I'll take a listen. If you dont get picked for 1 show, dont get discouraged because I am always doing shows.
Q: Will I be able to do more than 1 show?
A: Sometime if the band kicks ass with their music, I'll ask them to do multiple shows. Other than that.. I ask to pick 1 because I wanna give people a chance to get heard or seen.
Q: Will there be out of state bands
A: It depends, as of right now when I book for the northside I go no further than Wisconsin, and south no further than Indiana. We will be doing benefits out of state beginning next year. But that's still in the setup phase.
Q: I dont wanna do a show, but I would like to donate?
A: To donate money, send me a message and I'll tell you all the information you need.

Raven Interviews is a project launched by Eye Of The Storm, Inc. Eye Of The Storm, Inc is a non profit organization located in Illinois with a soon to be chapter in Colorado. These interviews can help local artists that would like to submit a professional style interview to send with their promo kit. This show is not only for locals, but majors as well. We have some major interviews lined up that you will not want to miss!
This show is also here to help out: actors, models, booking and mgmt companies, fashion designers, poets, artists, bands, political parties... if you deal with the public, then we want to interview you! Our theme for the show is "Uncensored, Unscripted and Unformatted" Meaning, there are no scripted Q&A's, you can talk about anything you want and there's no limit where we can go once the interview start.
There will be certain times where we will provide basic Q&A's to certain interviewees, but we try not to because we want the people listening to hear heart felt answers and nothing you said on previous shows.
This show is not to bad mouth anyone, it's more of a positive interview. All interviews are conducted over the phone. Interviews are up a few hours after the interview is completed. These interviews are conducted NPR style. Incase you're not familier with NPR (National Public Radio). The interview last anywhere from 10min to ?? depending on who is being interviewed, there will be music in segments of the interview to spice it up a bit.
