About Me

This profile was edited with Software Grab Editor
I like Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain, I'm not much into health food, and I have half a brain... it's in a jar in my closet. I like monkeys, they make me laugh. I've been a vegetarian for 16 years but I'd never throw paint on your fur coat - I'd only have to go home and destroy my Gucci loafers, and that isn't going to happen. I'm self-righteous, hypocritical, and sentimental. I want to save the world, but I'm lazy. I have hundreds of books that i've only read half of. I read self-help books as research and so I can argue intelligently about them - not because I'm crazy. I am crazy, but in a totally charming way. Yes, that's right, I just referred to myself as charming. I respect artists, I relate more to the Jews than to the Latinos, I'm both childlike and an old-soul, I should've been a psychiatrist, I'm motivated by guilt and panic, and I care what my friends think about me.I believe science is far more important than religion, laughter heals, a better life can be obtained by the right use of pharmaceuticals, and one should always try to live by example.I need to be taken care of, but I'll fight the people I love on that all the way because I pride myself on being independent. I guess I'm stubborn sometimes, too. Wow, I SO don't sound charming any more do I? You'll have to take my word for it, I am. Now excuse me while I go and drink another Diet Coke.

My Interests

writing - art - politics - music - people... i suppose that sums up life for me.I want to understand people as well as I can... it used to be to try and save them, now it's to try and save myself from them.I'm interested in the impossible - a baggage free life... world peace... a productive government... mutual respect among people... a balanced eco-system... chocolate for every meal... not gaining weight... aging gracefully... being a good friend and sister... forgiving my parents... separation of church and state... the never-ending orgasm... unlimited free anytime minutes with no roaming charges... a cat that cleans its own shitbox... total self-acceptance without vanity or hubris...

I'd like to meet:

you in the morning... 56th and WabashaSONNET 81Or I shall live your epitaph to make, Or you survive when I in earth am rotten; From hence your memory death cannot take, Although in me each part will be forgotten. Your name from hence immortal life shall have, Though I, once gone, to all the world must die: The earth can yield me but a common grave, When you entombed in men's eyes shall lie. Your monument shall be my gentle verse, Which eyes not yet created shall o'er-read; And tongues to be, your being shall rehearse, When all the breathers of this world are dead; You still shall live,—such virtue hath my pen,— Where breath most breathes, even in the mouths of men.
