Just a momma on a mission... A quickie video (see below) I made to express my frustrations with Kaiser Insurance.
Kaiser will provide coverage & treatments for other things such as Diabetes, AIDS and Cancer that have NO absolute cure. BUT they DISCRIMINATE those diagnosed with ASD and offer only DRUGS as a solution for our non-aggressive son!
I ask you, how fair is that? How fair is this to Cameron and those like him?

This cute musical video (see below) REALLY CHEERED ME UP after recently hearing from our Pediatrician that one of our 4 yr old twin boys, (Cameron) has "characteristics of Autism but NOT full blown Autism." (as if that was going to console us...)
Cameron is a happy, loving, child that can communicate "OK" on good days - tells me he loves me, gives me kisses, allows us to hug, cuddle, and hold him. So maybe Cameron is not so bad off after all.
No matter how things turn out I will always love Cameron. I am blessed and love all three of my children very dearly!

One of our twin boys, CAMERON , was "finally & officially" diagnosed with
Autism Spectrum Disorder on August 13 2007 shortly after they turned 4 years old.

FACTS:
*1 in 150 children are born with Autism
*BOYS are diagnosed with Autism 4X more often than girls.
*A new case is diagnosed nearly EVERY 20 minutes!
*More children will be diagnosed with Autism THIS YEAR than AIDS, Diabetes, and Cancer COMBINED
