About Me

A transplant from the Mid-West to Los Angeles -- I'm a down to earth girl. While I am a definite type-A personality, I also like to be frivolous and spontaneous when it comes to the things I enjoy.
I used to work as a music editor, currently on the television show 'Scrubs.' My job was a lot of fun, for the most part, and allowed me to take the summer off when TV production goes on hiatus.
My work schedule allowed me to take on projects as a freelance video editor, videographer, and producer. I shot most of and edited all of Bas Rutten's Big DVD's of Combat, edited and co-produced the Team Quest Strength & Conditioning DVD, and shot footage and am working as an editor currently on a documentary project that followed Rulon Gardner through his preparation to fight Yoshida.
Recently I "retired" from show business to work full-time as the Program Director at CrossFit Los Angeles. I am a certified CrossFit instructor and Olympic Lifting Coach. I teach out of Petranek Fitness in Santa Monica, CA. I love helping people reach their fitness goals and feel better about themselves.
I also write a monthly column for the CrossFit Journal on Martial Arts. www.crossfit.com/journal/
Martial Arts have long been a hobby of mine, and I currently alternate between training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Rey Diogo's and training Tai Chi/Qi Gong. But whether it be training Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu, regular trips to Vegas for live shows, or watching events on TV. If you can't understand what's cool about watching people beat each other's ass, or getting your own ass kicked in training, then you won't understand me either.
Aside from that, I've got two cats and I like to shoot things.

Be sure to check out my completely revamped new website with NEW CONTENT DAILY! Let me know what you think!
