I am just your run of the mill typical woman in her twenties, who just happens to have a really cool job. I have been singing since I was in diapers, but professionally since 1997 when I was signed to Classified Records. I released several songs and a full-length album back in 1998-99. My first song "Sweet Honesty" was on billboard for 22 consecutive weeks and took me on the most exciting ride of my life of touring and performing. My second single "What Do You Remember," was also on billboard where it blossomed there for 17 consecutive weeks.
When Classified Records folded back in 2000, I turned down several record deals to focus on completing my Dental Hygiene studies and also to wait for Planet Hype to start up, my new label.
Currently, I am recording my sophomore album. It has been a long time in the making, but well worth the wait. I am just having fun with it and living in the moment. I figure I have just one life to live, why not accomplish everything I have ever set out for myself? I just have to keep my promise to myself, that is to do it all with a smile and a fire in my belly for singing.
