I've Been Thinking About You

About Me

Jocelyn Enriquez biography
(5 January 1996)

Twenty-one year old Jocelyn Enriquez has already conquered the national airwaves during her first two years in the music industry. Her first album, Lovely, includes the dance hits I've Been Thinking About You (achieving position on Billboard's Hot 100 Singles chart and many industry awards), Make This Last Forever, ballad You Are The One, Hi Energy club anthem Big Love, and Freestyle slammer Only.

Discovered by Classified Records in late 1993, this Filipina-American has been singing since she was three. She started singing at small family gatherings and in Church. When producers Glenn Gutierrez , Elvin Reyes, and Mario Agustin Jr. first heard her sing, they were impressed with her versatility. She was back in the studio a couple of weeks later recording her smash debut single. Writers/producers of I've Been Thinking About You Glenn and Mario agreed that this was the beginning of something big.

Her powerful voice is a result of her ten year extensive formal training with the San Francisco Girls Chorus. Through her rigid and disciplined schedule with the Chorus and the San Francisco Opera Company, she developed a voice that can accommodate many different music genres. The results are positive reviews from key industry magazines such as Billboard, BAM and Dance Music Authority, along with guest appearances on several television shows like MTV's Beach Party and NBC's First Cut.

Already a veteran to the industry, she has performed alongside artists Jon Secada, Real McCoy, Ce Ce Peniston, Crystal Waters and many more. She is currently signed under Classified Records and has toured cities throughout the United States, including San Diego, Dallas, Detroit, New York, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Orlando, and the San Francisco Bay area. Larry Flick of Billboard writes, "Her vocal is sure and passionate...lots of promise for a major top 40 breakthrough."
