don't pray on me

About Me

My name is Shivon. My middle name is Vanessa. Yes, it seems obvious, but you would be surprised how many messages I get for "Vanessa." I know I am!

I am married to the love of my life.

My work (acupressure/bodywork) is much more than a "job" to me. I am extremely passionate about what I do and am honored to work with people in the way that I do.

Even when things are rough, my life rules.

my wedding was awesome. here's proof:

My Interests

beast, working with those who are starting life, ending life and at every stage in-between, Jin Shin Do Acupressure, Craniosacral work, bodymind therapy, taoist philosophy, wei wu wei, saving $$$, financial security, yoga, wing chun kung fu, hiking, kettlebells, the mountains...oh how i love the mountains, solitude, vegan cooking, cuddling with my hot husband, finding the extraordinary in the ordinary, moments of clarity, holding up mirrors, tattoos, roller coasters, old sideshows, taking pictures of myself, talking in my sleep, making a mess, watching cheesy movies, trying new things and doing fun shit that i'm no good at, like: bowling, air hockey, video games and shooting guns.

I'd like to meet:

People I do know and have known in the past.

There is a reason you have to know my last name (psst...it's my maiden name, so if you knew me many moons ago, you know it) or email address before trying to add me as a friend! But that doesn't mean you should shy away from sending me a message if you think we have something in common and want to start a conversation (as long as you say something more than "hey, your page looks cool. add me."). Call me old-fashioned, but i like to have some sort of interaction with people before considering them a "friend"--even in myspace terms.

And if you've known me in the past, especially if it was way back when, help me out by giving me a clue as to where I know you from...I've been too many places and my memory is fading in my old age. haha.
