Heruka project was created in the year 2000 by Adranor (Vocals/Bass Guitar/Drum Programming) and Valdemar (Vocals/Guitars) with the purpose of recreating through estreme music, in an initial epicurean conception, sensations and moods aroused within them by the ancient medieval village called Erice. "Doxa Epicurea", the first demo, which the duo recorded between May and June 2001 consists of 5 tracks, two of which are instrumental. This obsessive and gloomy recording, is meant to show the insignificance of single lifes before the greatness of natural upheavals. At the same time, the importance of small things with regard to the correct and complex unfolding of natural chains of evolution, to which men are part of. The italian language was used enterely for the lyrics. At the end of 2001, subsequent to the withdrawal from the project by Valdemar, Adranor decided to get ahead with the project by starting to put on paper new ideas in order to offer new products. The mini cd under the title “Leggenda†(Legend), first series of connected concepts and released in february 2005, is made up of 6 tracks, 24 minutes playing time, whose lyrics (in italian) always deal with the famous sicilian locality. However in a wider context with purely fantasy inserts, leaving the original epicurean conception. Therefore everything is within a spatial/temporal vision entirely created by Adranor. After some live shows for mini-cd Leggenda promotion (made up of Adranor (Vocal/Bass) and Moha(Guitar) as only members of the group permorming live concerts) work has started on the sequel of "Leggenda" which will be a full-lenght cd.
