I Lothüs, band siciliana di heavy-metal stoner, nascono nell’ottobre del 2007. La formazione è composta da nomi presenti già da tempo sulla scena palermitana ma con alcune novità in termini di ruolo. Francesco Chiazzese, chitarrista dei Trinakrius, nella veste di cantante, Giulio Di Gregorio ex cantante di Irencros e Thy Majestie alla chitarra, Gianfranco Attardo chitarrista degli ormai sciolti Irencros, Fabio Accardo e Vincenzo Viola, bassista e batterista delle Radiance. Fin da subito la band ha avuto le idee chiare sulla direzione de intraprendere riguardo al sound: un metal/stoner moderno e diretto basato su riff pesanti, semplici ed efficaci che fanno da sfondo a uno stile vocale che guarda al blues e al rock degli anni ‘70.

Lothüs is an Italian heavy-metal stoner band, formed in Palermo on October 2007. The line-up is composed of Franco Chiazzese (guitarist of Trinakrius) as singer, Giulio Di Gregorio (former vocal of Irencros and Thy Majestie) as guitarist, Gianfranco Attardo as guitarist (ex Irencros), Fabio Accardo (bass player of Radiance), Vincenzo Viola (drummer of Radiance). Since it has been started its activity, the band exactly known how its sound had to be: a modern metal/stoner based on heavy, direct and effective guitar riffing, suitable background for a way of singing with blues influences and inspired to the rock of 70’s.
