DEAD TWILIGHT was born in Palermo (Italy) from a Bellante Luca's idea
a lot of time after him split with PANTHEISM in the spring of the year 2001,
Death Metal band been previously born (also it for his idea) in the autumn 1998,
PANTHEISM made a Demo-CD dated January 2000. In autumn 2003 were
composed early riffses and few later also the early lyrics. After various vicissitudes and many problems of Line-Up the project DEAD TWILIGHT taken form and it became real in April 2004 later the entry in the Line-Up of the singer and bassplayer Giorgio Arcara, ex-keyboard player of NYARLATHOTEP (Black Metal band with two Demo-CD available) and singer/bassplayer of FORTIIS (Black/Ambient band with three Demos-CD available). Principal musical influences are of bands like INCANTATION, NILE and in general in the BRUTAL DEATH whole scene.The lyrics are of various type, they born from the charm of the death-undeath
and from the living dead created by George A. Romero, from stories by Albert
Graham, Guy de Maupassant, Howard P. Lovecraft, from Tibetan culture of death (Padma Sambhava) and in general from negative feelings of the mind.
'...A litany for the deads...' is the first release of the band and its contains five tracks+intro of classic Brutal Death Metal made in U.S.The tracklist is: 1) A prey for the (un)dead; 2) Undead; 3) Apocalyptic visions
4) House of death, 5) Calling from beyond; 6) Dead twilight...In March '07 DEAD TWILIGHT signed a contract with Valley Of Death Records (UK), that will be re-print and distribute the mini-CD with new logo and new artwork... In October '07 a new singer has come, Marco Bellante, Luca's brother, ex voice of the Death Metal band UNTORY... Actually the band is working at new songs for the new release.
