" I KNOW MYSELF BEFORE I LOVE YOU...YOU GOT TO KNOW YOURSELF BEFORE YOU LOVE ME"
Extract quoted from the unforgetable song 'I know myself' by the Jamaïcan Rasta Man, Ernest WILSON...Never forget this so wise and loving singer...Much Respect! My name is Kay Dee The Bee, singer, songwriter, born in Paris. You won't know anything about my private life here (except for the closest friends who know me in current life), it is a strictly artistic page! I try to present the female side of music production. I know it's hard... This is my Penthesilea's Quest that I try to express on Music, in a sharp style and voice, piercing like spears of Love, cause it's all about Love. I started as being officially my own songwriter in 2002, with a first song named ‘Suave Tempo’, in a collab with the group ‘Plaisirs de France’, signed with the French label Pro-Zak Trax. I pursued on writing and singing my songs, in a collab with a French producer named Karar. We wrote an album ‘Quest 4 a Muse’ and I performed it on the stages of the monthly French famous party, ‘The Funky Saturday’, produced by DJ Pharoah, in Nantes, from 2002 to 2007. In 2006, I signed for the album ‘Quest 4 a Muse’, on the NYC Label A Train Production and had the pleasure to perform the album songs on the stage of the Wish 26 Club, 6th avenue, in Manhattan - New York City. It was outstanding and very well acclaimed! In 2007, I signed a non-exclusive contract with the Fair German Label Lemongrassmusic Production. 2008 has begun for me by my collab with the Great Italian MINdDABEAT Group. Here you can listen to the different mixes of 'LOVE HURTS'...To be continued my friends...Some of my co-produced songs have been distributed worldwide, such as:Suave Tempo – 2002 Kay Dee & Plaisirs de France, Pro-Zak Trax production – on the ‘Compilatrax Vol.2, worldwide distribution. If I can’t touch you - 2003 Kay Dee & DJ Premier production, on the compilation ‘Gangstarr Fondation’, distributed by Oneness Records, in France and US.We wanna be lovers – 2005 Kay Dee & DJ Moar, on the compilation ‘Graffiti Sessions Urbaines’, Moar Production, distributed by La Fnac, Oneness Records, WhyNot Mc, in France and Europe.Surrender Ur Mind – 2007 Kay Dee & Karar, on the compilation ‘Lemongrass Garden Vol.2’ – LemongrassMusic production, worldwide distribution, for downloading on i Tunes.4 a whole night – 2007 Kay Dee & Karar, on the compilation ‘Lounge du soleil Vol.2’ – LemongrassMusic production, worldwide distribution, for downloading on i Tunes.Lucky U – 2008 Kay Dee & 7b – LemongrassMusic productionMy night and day - 2008 Kay Dee The Bee & LemongrassMusic production, on the EP ‘Weathertunes Sunsurfer’, worldwide distribution, for downloading on i Tunes by March 2008.Sex is the place – 2008 Kay Dee The Bee & LemongrassMusic production, on the EP ‘Weathertunes Sunsurfer’, worldwide distribution, for downloading on i Tunes by March 2008.If you want to listen to more songs:Click Me One love,

On „Lounge du Soleil“, the sun is the overall metaphor for the music selection, connoting life-giving light, serenity and guidance. The second edition continues the established concept which radiates warmth and pleasure, and is ready for download only.
Apart from the artists known from the first edition, you will encounter new acts from Finland (Northbound), Denmark (Rumpistol feat. Tusnelda), Russia (Aguaflames) and the UK (Sansura). The sun-centred family embraces music projects from 10 different countries and offers a deeply satisfying panoramic view of the international Lounge/Ambient/Electronic-scene. With the exception of Maomakmaa’s „Einsiedler“ all tracks are previously unreleased.
The idle shuffle of iëlo’s „Soleil d’Hiver“ is at the heart of „Lounge du Soleil vol. 2: the calming presence of the winter sun, leisure and time for introspection and an inexplicable but nevertheless dominating feeling of wellness and ease. The same tranquil flow is to be found in tracks like Five Seasons „Her Almond Eyes“ or Aguaflames „Noiman“. The fragile vocals and broken beats of Rumpistol feat. Tusnelda „Free Fall“ have a strong Nordic touch and are remindful of somer slower renderings of Björk. For all those who dream of escaping the cold, Weathertunes provide the perfect vibes with their „Sugar Loaf“ – a tasteful, tender and soothing evocation of Rio de Janeiro.
In between these peaceful little treasures, there’s a good spoonful of inspiring beats. Take JetTricks feat. AdeFunKe „Breathe Now“ with its well-measured Afro-Funk elements and Pete Phunk’s mix of Tafubar „The Wicked Thoughts of You“ to get you going. Or immerse yourself in the powerful slow-motion beats of Miss Kay Dee’s „For a Whole Night.“
The cream on top comes courtesy of Japanese project antennasia who with „Kemono Michi“ drop the most beautiful vocal track on this compilation. As a special treat, Lemongrass allows insight into his upcoming album „Pour L’Amour“ with his gentle offering „Dinner With You“.
