About Me
Djda, born in 1978, grown up in music as Hip Hop Dj and Producer.
In 1998, with “Le Park Music†label (Self), he signed his first national record contract for an album with his band called “Royal Minutzâ€. During them tour around Italy they received a lot of positive judgement and consents, and it gives to Dj Da the possibility to know a lot of Italian hip hop underground artists as Dj Color, Zampa, Jap, Set One and many others, and to produce compilations and featuring with them.
New Millennium brought to Da a new way to concept the music. In fact in 2000 he opened Dadaisma Recording Studio where he worked with American rappers but also he started to meet other kind of music as Italian Jazz, mixing an Italian production, and Experimental Rock. That’s why in 2001, Da thought about a new music project, called Giulianos, where rock and hip hop sounds are mixing together; this new expression gave a lot of satisfactions especially during national contests and concerts.
In 2002 Dj Da’ started to work also as live sound engineer, reaching, in less than one year, 100 concerts and receiving many positive opinions by artists and backstage workers. So he decided, in 2004, to attend to one of the most important and professional school of music engineering in Italy (APM in Saluzzo), passing all exams with maximum grades.
During a training period, Da had the possibility to work as Assistant at Esagono, one of the most well known Recording Studio of Italy, where he could learn in contact with great Italian artists (as Cesare Basile) and international producers (as John Parish).
In 2003 Dj Da founded, with two important and creative jazzmen, Carlo Colombo and Filippo Tantino, the project Mind Da Beat, a trio that creates an electronic – lounge – dance sound, never listen before, playing synthetizer, samples, electric double bass and other.
Mind Da Beat project has produced 3 mini cds, totally sold out during the concerts, and an album, Rainbow.
2006 gave the opportunity to work with DJ DARIUSH, SAM PEREZ, BRUSCA and many more.
