Dariush Fattahi began his artistic career in 1992,
as a drummer in a Rock band.
His passion for music and live performances inspired him to use
synth and analog machines to produce the kind of sounds that nobody
but him could everimagine.
As a result, he creates original and innovative styles that characterize
his artistic evolution and establish him internationally.
In 1995 Dariush starded collaborating with PRG Records,
specifically with Christian Hornbostel and Kabal. Together they
produced Techno music. Further, in 1998, Dariush,
Kabal, and Lady Brian created KADABRA
Digital Wizard which was an independent label.
At this point, they used this label for three years
and produced some of the most important Electronic
tracks, such as Ira, Accidia, etc.
These creations gave him the opportunity to meet more famous DJs
including Mauro Picotto, Mario Piu, Franchino,
Joy Kitikonti, Tony H, Dj Pure, Davide Bomben and db Boulevard.
During three years, thanks to his artistic and
technical abilities, he obtained the type of quality
and sound originality that have constantly placed
him in European Techno charts. In 2001, along with
the hit : Ira (Media) arrives success which allowed
him to gain increasing fame and importance.
Immidiately afterwards, he remixed and produced Igor Ss
Boomerang (ID&T) and after a few months he produced
another hit: No Regular by Ricky Fobis (ID&T).
The discographic success influenced him to increase his
DJ activities in several Italian clubs like: Aida (Venice),
Matrix (Brescia), Phrasar (Torino), Embassy (Rimini),
Energy 2003 (CH), Monte Cristo 2 (FR), Tranceport
2004 (CH), Sonyk 3 2004 (CH), Mad (CH), Tnt (Venice),
Movida (Venice), Overside (Treviso), and Night & Day(Venice).
Experimenting with his passion for computers,
he has managed to perform with originality and success
in live shows as well. In fact, he soon realized that
live perfomance is the best way for him to express his
artistic capabilities. Moreover, in his exhibitions he uses
part of his repertoire to remix and create in real time.
In 2003, Accidia, the follow up of Ira, was released
again by Media label. In addition, Dariush produced
No Guns by Lady Brian and The Gain by Playteck, for
Media Records. In 2004, Dariush separated from kadabra
in order to start a solo career. Basically, he wanted to
travel around the world in search of new musical experiences.
During this period, he happened to meet
another DJ called Sam Perez and together they with
Brusca produced a single called Ghouls and Ghosts
which was among the best Techno tracks in European
charts. In 2005, he released with Principato Snowboard
for Ocean Dark/Azuli and with Sam Perez
Across The Ocean, Saul B. & Leo Girardi - Manga rmx and Dariush & DJ Da feat Tina – Good vibration for Yoshitoshi recordings.
At the end of 2005 Dariush started to collaborate with the musician Giio, who’s still the singer of most of his house music productions. They also gave birth to the pop project LUNATIQ PHASE. Right now, at the beginning of 2008, an entire album of 15 songs it’s at the point to be released. www.myspace.com/lunatiqphase
