THE OFFICIAL NeWO RECORDS MYSPACE PAGETera Red was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. He received his Associate Degree in Business Management from Taylor Business Institute. While studying for his degree, he had a course in Literature that re-sparked his love of writing and he realized he had found his passion; storytelling. He worked various positions in the workforce while augmenting his writing skills for the better. He attended several seminars and festivals to get more experience within the industry.Tera developed another skill from his writing craze; rapping. Currently, Tera is the Founder & C.E.O. of NeWO Records plus the creator of the NU Magazine blog featured on this website. His last position in the corporate field was as the office manager for Diamond Soundz Recording Studio in 2007. During his tenure there, Tera found that music & writing were the only things he loved and wanted to do for the rest of his life.Tera has released 2 independent mixtapes, an EP, written 4 full-length films and 1 short film. He has worked on independent films such as No More Night and Broken Hearts. He was the music composer and music director for both. He is currently working on his first novel.Tera is a prolific rap artist & writer who captures the true essence of American music and writing in its rawest form. Recently moved from the Bronx to Queens, he continues to hone his craft while he pursues the opening of another own of his own companies, S.Y.N.
