Feeling alive inside the music...

About Me

Puertorican-born singer Inaia comes from an eclectic and culturally diverse background that can't help but influence who she is and what she does. Passionate and multi-lingual, her early travels to Europe and mainland USA shaped her sense for music, language and culture. She became fluent in Spanish, English and Italian and learned some French, Japanese and Portugese as well. As a singer she has traveled the world sharing her music and vocals audiences all over. She has performed throughout the United States including many South Beach, FL venues as well as New York, Las Vegas, and Atlanta. Internationally, her career has brought her to perform in countries such as the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Japan, Korea, Italy and Morocco. While on tour in Japan last winter, she spent most of her time at her iBook composing lyrics and music, which eventually resulted in her newly released CD, "Duality." "Duality" is a unique concoction of fresh, seductive Jazz and World Jazz with a chill, sexy vibe. It includes 5 original tracks and 6 fresh interpretations of world jazz standards that complete this eclectic blend of musical styles. "Duality" is full of gems, both old and new", writes Wrinksis, a reviewer for MusicFreedom.com. "The album's biggest highlight may very well be the reflective song True in which Inaia finds herself revealing a soul that's always been stronger and urges the listener to seek his or her own freedom." Simone Vimercati of "Jazz It Up" radio show says: "Inaia's Duality, is a delightful blend of new songs and covers interpreted with originality and personality. I like especially the track "True": a deep song where the voice of Inaia emanates emotion and sensuality. Everyone that loves soul and vocal jazz should own Inaia's album" Inaia's sound is hip, sexy, modern and fresh. Her emotion-filled vocals will surely uplift and bring a smile to your soul.
