Mario Bojanic je roden 28/09/1984. u Splitu. Kao dijete (ili "mali decko", kako on to sam kaze) pokazivao je interes za glazbu opcenito ali posebice za sve vrste harmoniziranja, viseglasja i zanrova koji su mu kao djetetu bili nedokucivi (kasnije je shvatio da nista od toga nije "frka"). Oduvijek je bio fasciniran fenomenom ljudskog glasa i svim neistrazenim dimenzijama istoga. Provodeci vecinu svoga djetinjstva u glazbeno zacaranom krugu ljudi (prvenstveno samih glazbeno-freakovskih ukucana) polako razvija svoj individualni ukus prema necemu sto predstavlja odmak od tradicionalnog dalmatinskog cetveroglasnog pjevanja...u tradicionalno cetveroglasno gospel pjevanje kao prvi indikator "slusnih trazenja samog sebe". U relativno kratko vrijeme okrece se pop-soul izricaju kao dominantnom te se na njega naslanja u svim buducim izvedbama, nerijetko koketirajuci i sa jazzom kao novootkrivenim svijetom njegove glazbe. U godinama akni i neposluha prema roditeljima mrcvari se sa najnovijim albumima mainstreama svjetske glazbene scene dok se upisom na fakultet i pred kraj istog polako okrece vec polako definiranim glazbenim putovima svoga pjevanja. Prijelazne faze glazbene formacije nisu vrijedne spomena kad donekle zrela osoba o njima ide razmisljati. :)Stalni je clan multizanrovskog cover banda "Obba-Obba" kao jedan od vokala uz njegovu "soul sista'" Ms. Sara Brodaric te udruge "Les amis de la Chanson" s kojom je odrzao niz koncerata u raznim gradovima RH kao i zapamceno gostovanje u Parizu u lipnju 2008. godine sa projektom "Gibonni na nas nacin".
Pocetkom veljace 2008. zapocinje suradnju sa autorom glazbe/tekstova Ivanom Franasovicem-Giovom te kao rezultat ugodnog "henganja" u studiju i zajednickog inovativnog pristupa glazbi nastaje pjesma "Hendikep" urbanog zvuka i neobicnih harmonijskih ideja. U tijeku su pripreme za intenzivnije probe sa novookupljenim glazbenicima za novi projekt, band koji bi trebao odskakati naglasenim soul zvukom, senzibiltetom vokala (Sara & Mario) te prije svega uzivanju u samoj glazbi.
ENGLISH BIO:
Year 1984. It was a hot day on September 28th. At approximately 12:30 PM a baby was born in Split. Unwilling to follow the tradition of naming the children after their parents (the options being Kazimir and Dragutin) the decision was finally made: they want to call him Mario, sounds good to them. During the first years he was usually called names because of his continuous and inexplicable mood changes towards family members and so called friends from the hood. (Part missing-it was too boring, LOL). After graduating from highschool Mario chooses the study of English and Italian language, 4 years of his life during which he met some people there who already, at the age of 23, changed his life for the better and made him realise what he was and what he was not. Among some other things these friendships are the most preciuos things he has. At this age he has graduated from the University as Master of English and Italian Philology (there are so many ways to describe my title in Croatian, none of those seeming to be a corresponding English equivalent!) and intends to continue on a postgraduate study...only if it turns out that he's eligible for a scholarship. :) He is always saving money for travelling, since acquainting with other nations, cultures and traditions is sth that he likes to think of as ART. He still does not know what he wants to be once he "grows up", he's trying again to find a job that won't make a slave out of him and will allow him to "shine" with all his potentials. He still likes Spanish more than Italian and English and he's benn very keen on improving his French recently, he still wants to travel around the world, he does not want to teach in elementary or high school even though his diploma says so, he often works as a city guide with Spanish groups, he sings in the morning, he sings after lunch, he sings for fun, he sings when drunk, he sings in his mind while studying for the finals (that's not the case anymore...), he sometimes wishes he could be somewhere else, he dreams of having his own back-up singers and a small gospel choir, he wishes he had not said some things and wishes he had done some things. He only fell in love last year and holds on to it... it was all worth it. He must have felt weird while writing all these things about himself. I've never met him. I'd love to. Someday i will...
