The Prozacs

Western Massachusetts #1 answer to Punk Rock.

About Me

The Prozacs are a punk rock band from Western Massachusetts. Formed originally in September 2001 as a side project of Jay from The GrandPrixx...it quickly became the main focus. Joined by Matty (Jan 05') of local band Dangerously Happy...and the return of Coliano Prozac (April 03' - June 05' and back Aug 07'), we are brought to the most current incarnation of the band.
Since the summer of 2002, the band has had several releases on various indie labels and has toured the East Coast/Mid West many times. Shows are constantly being played all over New England in promotion of their releases and bringing their live show to the fans, ever expanding their base of listeners.
Wearing their influences proudly on their arms, the band retains the passion and heart of playing a brand of music that has been shuffled under the carpet by mainstream and popular styles. The Prozacs will continue to move forward, making new fans and friends...while helping to support the local music scene as well as the national pop/punk scene.
The Prozacs sophomore album, “Questions, Answers And Things Never Found” was released on March 13th 2007 on Cheapskate Records. A summer US tour with good friends Johnie 3 followed as well as the Insubordination Records Fest. Also released was the Split 7" with The Guts on Cabana 1 Records. Keep listening for more to come!
