About Me

[ai]D['mju:zik] Records (IDMuziq.com) is a digital record label focusing on releasing IDM and Experimental music.Some may know D-A-R-K Records, Node3 Records and Spores Records, which are all sister labels of [ai]D['mju:zik] Records (IDMuziq.com).With the Internet now being a viable source for obtaining music, we see this as a platform to promote the growing number of producers in this genre at the same time also see the threat of file-sharing, leading to a rise in piracy, which we feel is unjustifiable to the hard work and the efforts taken by the artist in producing their music. Over the past years we have also seen the emergence of net labels. Depending on the ideals of the net label, music files from the artists may be downloaded free of charge or for a fee that is paid via paypal or an online payment system. Some of these labels also offer hard copy CDs in addition to direct download. Most net labels acknowledge the Creative Commons licensing system thus reserving certain rights for the artist.Digital Labels are the latest version of a "net" label. As where "net" labels were started as a free site or just a hobby point, digital labels seek to give the major record industry a real run for their money. One of the pioneers of the major digital label is Fiberlineaudio. Oridoom is Philippe Desmeules. He was born in 1988 in Saguenay, province of Quebec, Canada. Oridoom started is journey into music composition at 8 years old, at the time he was into classical music. At age 12, he made his first steps into electronic music, having the desire to amalgamate real musical instruments (acoustic and electric guitar, percussion, piano, synthetizer) with sound coming his imagination and own creation... He has been into punk music, to drum & bass and many more musical styles, always in synergy with his classical music roots, thus providing you with composition and production masterpieces. Oridoom has for musical influences: Aphex twin, Squarepusher, Venetian Snares, Autechre, Boards of Canada and many more of today's and yesterday's musical pioneers. We could describe his music creation and production as a freestyle of a lot of Core music such as gabber, doom, break, dark, and hard, but in synergy with classical music, his roots.
So here is a free release brought to you kindly by Oridoom, a breakcore Xmas special which he titled, Oridoom's Crazy Christmas. We hope you enjoy those two fine breakcore tracks!

DREAMDAZE began in 2000 as the solo project of DJ Dazed, a former member of the seminal Iowa-based post punk bands, Mangled Kitten and Dr. Sweet, and a current member of the space-age future-pop band Velva.

Using laptops and an assortment of software, DREAMDAZE produces music on the experimental edge of electronica.

DREAMDAZE has produced 4 solo CDs: This Is How Flat The World Is (2003), The Truth In Everything Rejected (2004), Titles Unconnected With Their Functional Use (2005) and The Harvest Of Exact Calculations (2007) - and has over 35 songs published by Raw42, a UK-based music publisher.

DREAMDAZE is featured on several compilations, including Raw42's Global Chilled Volume 1 (2004) and Machinations v4.2: IDM & Ambient Techno (2004) and has had music featured on a Filament Recordings release, the Canadian television show Zed and National Public Radio's All Songs Considered.

DREAMDAZE continues to receive airplay on radio stations around the globe, including the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, Japan, Germany, Holland and the United Kingdom - among others.

DREAMDAZE is influenced by Marcel Duchamp, Man Ray, William S. Burroughs and the Dada movmement in general.Songs by DREAMDAZE sound like Aphex Twin, Luke Vibert, mu-Ziq, Boards of Canada, Plaid, DJ Spooky and DJ Shadow.

A live DREAMDAZE show is a multi-sensory theatrical experience guaranteed to open the skull of an audience.

With his face masked in white paint, DJ Dazed leads the procession in the striking garb of The High Priest of Electronica, standing 8' tall in a chin-to-floor white robe.
