What is Berkshire Sound?
Berkshire Sound is a non-profit organization, created by Kristy Samson on June 18, 2007. This organization holds events, such as: band nights, movie nights, dances, stand-up comedian nights, benefits, charities, and many more events for teens in Berkshire County. Our goal is to keep teens and young adults from using drugs and alcohol, and help make a positive impact on their lives. Music is a big part of our organization. It’s an important part of many teenagers lives and we’d like to be a part of that, along with helping bands pursue their dreams.
Berkshire Sound supports local music and strives to promote all genres of music. Our events allow teens and young adults to met new people and see old friends. We would like to make a difference in the Berkshires and be noticed by our name many years from now. We put together a variety of events and are always wiling to hear ideas for new events.
