Remember that a kick in the ass is a step forward.

About Me

I like to mute the commercials. I like to go to the beach and read the latest Rolling Stone cover to cover. I don't understand daytime drinking, horseshoes, or football. I see most new movies in the theater. I like Jack Daniels and Karaoke. I like pretty feet and good shoes. I've been obsessed with Saturday Night Live since I was a kid. I love art that involves monsters, tiki culture and hindu imagery. I don't eat cows, pigs, or chickens. Fuck you, get over it. Death metal vocals bother me. I'm usually on time. I like Devo more than I like Iron Maiden, but Iron Maiden was my first concert. I like to give presents to my friends for Christmas and I've recently decided that I like Christmas music. Cigarettes suck donkey dick. I live in San Diego and sing for a band called Divided By Zero. My day job is selling shirts for a clothing company called Sik World, which allows me to travel a lot to Vegas, NYC, and recently London for trade shows. I grew up in Cape Cod, NYC, and Hawaii, then moved to San Diego to sing for a band called Ghoulspoon. I've always loved quirky movies and good music and I have very diverse taste, but tend to always return to the 80's punk and new wave that I grew up on. Even though my band gets lumped into the metal genre, I'm not really into much heavy metal music. I tend to gravitate towards weird and beautiful sounds. I'm 6' 3", heavily tattooed, and had long dreadlocks until recently, so I may look intimidating, but I'm actually (I think) a nice guy who likes to read and write and sing and play guitar and then go to my neighborhood dive bar. I'm always up for a good conversation/argument about music or movies. I'm a sarcastic fucker, but I've learned that sarcasm is a 2-way street and have tried to bite my tongue in recent years. I said tried. I live in the Normal Heights area of San Diego, so I usually hit up the Second Wind, Alibi, Ken Club, etc. during the week and play shows or check out bands on the weekends. If you live in the area and need somebody to hang out with, hit me up. All my musician friends are always broke, so I usually have an extra ticket to some cool concert.

The Devolutionary Oath:1) Be like your ancestors or be different. It doesn't matter. 2) Lay a million eggs or give birth to one. 3) Wear gaudy colors or avoid display. It's all the same. 4) The fittest shall survive yet the unfit may live. 5) We Must Repeat
