PLUGGED IN
the music magazine for Wales
PLUGGED IN magazine is the only magazine devoted to the music scene in Wales (whether it be home grown or imported, in the North, South, East or West) with original writing and exclusively-shot, high-quality photography.
Born out of a community project based in Pontypridd in South Wales and produced by independent publisher Haul Fryn Publishing its ethos is simple — to report on and encourage people to go and see a variety of live music throughout the country.
Currently published quarterly with an ever growing readership,
PLUGGED IN covers gigs from the CIA to the local club through its grass roots section which encourages young writers and photographers to get their work published - anyone can write for it, anyone can submit photographs.
AND to prove that we believe in giving something back to the music industry
PLUGGED IN is helping to invest in the Welsh music industry by giving back a percentage of its cover price to the clubs, bars, shops and colleges that sell it to invest in live music in Wales (a kind of musical Big Issue if you like). You see, it pays to sell PLUGGED IN magazine.
BANDS - if you have a gig in Wales, whether you're Welsh or not, let us know about it. We’ll need photographer/press passes to come and review/photograph the gig for the magazine - so if you want to be featured just email us.
The Welsh Music Scene now has its own voice, so come on board and be part of this unique revolution that is shouting:
“Get PLUGGED IN!â€.
