Born in 2000, the Lethargy family is comprised of childhood friends who formed the band through a love of music while still at school. This led to the band being signed by A&R legends, Derek Oliver and Dante Bonutto, to their label, Grind That Axe. On 14th October 2006, Lethargy ventured to Mwnci Studios in the forests of west Wales for three weeks to record their new album. At the production helm was legendary producer David Prater ( praterproductions.com ) whose resume includes such artists as Dream Theater and Firehouse. Prater then went onto mix the album with the assistance of Javier Bassino in Santiago, Chile, South America. The product of this recording session, “Purification†is the bands first official general release which hits the shops early 2008 and is to be followed by a tour.
