New State Radio

About Me

New State Radio are a hard-hitting 4-piece from Newport, South Wales. Influenced by the raw, Welsh passion of Manic Street Preachers, NSR present anger and sensitivity in one glorious package. Get in touch, get involved, help us out if you can, most of all enjoy being a part of our music and message.
Our first EP, 'Broadcast News' (2007), has 4 tunes on it and you can still help us eat when we're on tour by choosing to , we'll love you very much :)
We are also on as we assume you are, so why not become a fan and share it with your several hundred friends? Cheers!
For any press, or A&R enquiries, New State Radio are represented by Grant Tilbury. Contact Grant via Myspace or call him directly on 07977 453 686.
"Climactic choruses rise up from grunge indie pop songs - you can't help but admire New State Radio" - James McLaren, BBC Wales Music
"The Broadcast News EP is great! Swaggering riffs, lush guitar sound and great choruses. Really enjoyed that 15 minutes of my life!"
- Carl Bevan, 60ft Dolls
"A raw, energetic sound... so good to hear a young band with something to say" - Patrick Jones, Welsh Author/Poet
