Stand-up, Voice-Over, Improv, Sketch-comedy, dirty stories.
People who dream, fart, and love to laugh.
I own fewer than 10 CDs, and I like it that way. Music is like a buffet- you can never have enough, and the more you have the more you want, and it becomes overwhelming. So I'll take mine in a portion-controlled dose, please.
I pay attention to the promos so I don't have to waste my money on bad movies. If the promo starts out with "IN A WORLD..." I probably haven't seen it. If there's a helicopter, a midget, a forrest, a motorcycle, a ring, a chainsaw, or a war, I can pretty much rule it out.I DO like mindless comedies- Anchorman, Happy Gilmore, Best in Show, Borat, Sarah Silverman Jesus is Magic....that kind of stuff. Also, I like movies more because of the event or the person I associate with it. Hope Floats, Stand By Me, The Incredibles, Raising Arizona.
I like infomercials that make me believe (the real estate ones are the best). I like shows that make me laugh and/or cry. Other than that, I will pretty much watch anything on Comedy Central or E.
I read a lot of self-help books. Well, HALF-read them. just until I don't think I need them anymore...then I put them away, and 6 months later I have to buy another one. My bookshelf paints a pretty picture of my psyche. Also, I like HOW TO books ("How to make money in Voice Over," "How to Knit Like a Pro," "How to be Millionaire With 6 Dollars and a Can of Tuna"). But again, not a pretty picture. And of course anything that Oprah tells me to buy.
