It seems to me that "maybe", pretty much always means no.

About Me

Almost anything you'd want to know "about me" can be found elsewhere on this page, which, incidentally, was featured in the Los Angeles Times...

I'd like to meet:

Thom Yorke and the rest of Radiohead, P.T. Anderson (again), Wes Anderson, Darren Aronofsky, Joel & Ethan Coen, David Fincher, Ricky Gervais, Steve Jobs, and any talented / intelligent / creative / passionate / genuine person.

Quote of the Moment:
"It suddenly occurred to me that there would always be road construction...There will never be a point in my lifetime when all the highways are fixed. It's theoretically plausible that my closest friend might someday abandon me for no reason whatsoever, but it's completely impossible to envision a day where I could drive from New York to California without hitting roadwork somewhere along the way. It will always exist, and there's nothing I can do about it." - Chuck Klosterman, Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs

A note about my Top Friends:
For the record, I've long thought anything beyond a Top 12 was overkill, but here I am explaining my Top 24 (so much for integrity). This is how it breaks down: the first and third spots will always be my brothers and the second spot will always be my friend Katie. The fourth spot is reserved for music or movies of interest. All positions from that point on are determined by the following equation:

(Length of Friendship + Quality of Friendship) x (Value of Photo Attractiveness for female) or (Value of Photo Coolness for male) ÷ (Total Comments Received - Total Comments Left) - Length of Time Since Last Login Date = Approximate Ranking

That said, if you can't locate yourself on my Top Friend list that doesn't mean I don't like you. As on a school playground, it's simply not feasible, or possible, to include everyone. Or maybe you should just be a better friend. Ever think of that?

Music:

Radiohead
(saw them in L.A., New Jersey, and Boston - incredible)

Books:

Currently Reading: Snuff by Chuck Palahniuk
Currently Reading: Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert T Kiyosaki
Recently Read: Rant by Chuck Palahniuk
Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs by Chuck Klosterman
Some favorite authors:
Kurt Vonnegut Jr. (scorching satire)
Bret Easton Ellis (American Psycho may be the most disturbing book I've ever read)
Stephen King (monopolized my youth reading - strongest novel probably The Green Mile and best short story, by far, The Last Rung On The Ladder - devastating)
Chuck Palahniuk (a twisted modern day Vonnegut - Fight Club is good but I recommend starting with Survivor - skip Haunted [except for the stories "Guts" and "Nightmare Box"] andDiary)
Alan Moore (one of the best graphic novelists around - Watchmen and From Hell are must reads)
Malcom Gladwell (often dry but The Tipping Point and Blink are content gems)
*reading is FUNdamental

Heroes:

"Hero" - one of the most overused terms of recent memory...along with "pornstar." Yeah that's right, just because you have sex on camera does NOT make you a star.

Jenna Jameson = pornstar.
Suzy McTits = adult actress.
