About Me
The life and times of a cat and a dog with a unique twist: we're connected, literally. We share one body with a Dog's head at one end and Cat's head on the other. Adding to our dilemma is Cat's annoyance with Dog, mainly caused by Dog's stupidity and Cat's up-tight personality.
Cats and dogs weren't meant to live together, however in Catdog we do! We are a cat on one end and a dog on the other. Watch our antics when two such opposites share the same body.
We live in a house shaped like a fish and a bone in the town of Nearburg, which they share with Winslow Oddfellow, a small blue mouse with a wise guy attitude who constantly torments us. We always get into trouble with the Greasers. The gang is formed by three dogs: the boss is Cliff, while the other two followers are Lube and Shriek.
One fine day with a woof and a purr, a baby was born and it caused a little stir. No blue buzzard, no three eyed frog, Just a feline, canine, Little CatDog! CatDog, CatDog alone in the world was a little CatDog. A lunatic dog and a frustrated cat, opposite this and opposite that. Internal struggle for 2-in-1 brothers, scratchin' an' bitin' an' lovin' each other! CatDog, CatDog, Nothin' in the world like a little CatDog! CatDog, CatDog Nothin' in the world like a little CatDog!
Characters:
Cat - Cat is the smarter one of the two brothers, and is always hatching some kind of plot to get his brother to calm down, so that Cat doesn't get beat around and hurt. Even though most of these plots involve messing with Dog's feeble mind, they often backfire on Cat, much to his dismay. It may not show all the time but, he deeply loves, and cares about his brother Dog.
Dog - Dog is the more lovable of the two brothers, Dog loves to play and party and play some more, he loves baseball and playing fetch with frisbees, balls, sticks, etc. One of his best interests is in chasing the garbage truck. He is very friendly, and happy, but does have a breaking point. He's very sensitive, and if he fails at something he feels horrible, and worthless. It usually takes his brother Cat to help snap him out of it and relax.
Cliff - Cliff is the leader of The Greasers, This brutal bull dog is the typical cartoon "Spike", with a touch of Italian/Brooklyn-ease accent. As leader of the gang he has a rep of being the toughest of the three, though he has a hidden vulnerable side. The vulnerable side usually comes out when he's extremely frightened at something or very sad.
Shriek - Shriek is a tough broad, "I AM A GIRL!" She "shrieks" while trying to live up to her tomboy ways. Shriek is a pure bred poodle born in a very wealthy family. She lived in her parents mansion with her mom and her dad. They gave her everything a girl could ever dream of, or so they thought. She seeks more in life-adventure, excitement, a leather jacket and brass knuckles.
Lube - Not being so smart, Lube is the dumbest of the gang. He makes Cliff and Shriek look like scholars. He basically has the thought process of little child. This however makes him good with kids, as we notice when he's taking care of Winslow impersonating Cliff's niece. Despite Winslow's bratty attitude, Lube doesn't lose his temper. He just goes with the flow doing everything Winslow tells him to. He says with a sweet smile and sincere- "Uh ok baby."
