I'm a sailor without a ship. I'm a musician probably first and foremost. I play lots of different instruments: piano, trumpet, guitar, bass, sarangi, etc. However I do not play cello. I am excited because I was recently awarded a fellowship to work on a solo music project called Hebrew School . Check out some demos there, and check out its blog here.
I also play keyboard and trumpet with the faux-French band Nous Non Plus .
I am also a music enthusiast, for which "dork" is shorthand. I like to find music at stoop sales and church swap meets, etc. I particularly like to find records or tapes with no labels or maybe just someone's pager number on it and then see what it is. I also am known to peruse music blogs when I have the time.
I love to sing and play songs with people, on sea or on land, in cars, when I'm out somewhere, or at friends'. Friendships and relationships with people are a very important part of my life.
