About Me

The brothers Goldapples (pronounced gould-ah-pellsh), Anton and Shlomi, have worked hard for many years making much music for many people. Mostly good people, some not so much. In the time that was spare to them they mostly liked to drink and reminisce about the homeland and their sweet grey bearded mother, but occasionally making and arranging their own music is what they were also doing. Since moving home to be near an internet they have made the decision to place this music on the myspace and they hope you like. But if you do not this is also allowed. May the road ahead of you be well maintained and free of sheep.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Anton Goldapples: Many instruments and vocalising; Shlomi Goldapples: Many instruments and trumpeting. Also we have Justin Monkton: He plays many of the drums and he is known for being in the band Neverland; Michael Brown: He plays many of the clever electrical guitars and is known for being clever; David Longdon: He has played many clever things for us, some of which we've just receieved. He is known for being excellent singer and writer of songs.
Influences: Here we can list many many people who make us feel they are good for us to listen to in whatever way and who we wish we were. But we are not them. And we will never be them, because they are already them. And we should not try to be them for that reason. So it is debatable there is much point to this...but, Kirsty MacColl, Bacharach, Groucho, Costello, Hannon, Dexys, Folds, Beach Boys, Aimee Mann, XTC, Peter Parker, Mingus, Jellyfish, Larry David, The Small Faces, Beatles, Madness, Sly Stone, Basie, Stevie Wonder, Martin Newell, High Llamas, The Who, Neil Gaiman, David Longdon, My Life Story, Stereolab, Cole Porter, The Jam, The Higsons, The Doctor, Gershwin, Buzzcocks, The Redskins, Bowie, Ella Fitzgerald, The Boosh, The Specials, Billy Bragg, Northern Soul, The Smiths, Tamla, Louis Philippe, Blackadder, Squeeze, The Damned, Crowded House, Style Council, Extras, Arctic Monkeys, David Agnew, The Fifth Dimension, Jimmy Webb, The Wonder Stuff, Trojan records, Spector, The Kinks...you see how pointless this is yet...yes, look close at every thing we like and then you shall know us. And will this make your life better or give to you a deep understanding? Or let you know how we sound to save you trouble of listening? NO, so now we stop at this which is merely the tip of iceberg. May your mp3 player be well maintained and free of sheep.
