people, politics, history, science, health, language, ethics...human evolution fascinates me as does the development of democracy and liberty, and a sustainable human future. i'm interested in backward ways of thinking, and i study them diligently to try to unravel them. i'm interested in possibility.
people with honesty and a good sense of justice, the curious, the hopeful, the lively. i especially admire those who resist consumerism and those who observe the big picture.
i am somewhat opposed to music on principle, but i have listened to and probably enjoyed bits of every variety of it, from bluegrass to pop to rap to classical guitar. i've written some songs which embarrass me to no end. i also habitually whistle, quite well.
i watch a lot of movies. hm. the invisible, hudsucker proxy, jefferson in paris, the age of enlightenment, pieces of april, uptown girls, the bionicle, about a boy, trainspotting, groove, berkeley in the 60s, countless more i'm sure that i can't recall offhand.
