I am 100% pure JAPANESE.I am a chick bass player.moved to U.S to make my dream come true.
This is my band: MERE MORTALS
I'm from JAPAN ,moved to U.S with no money&no English and no friend.
Why I came here?
I've been playing the band in Japan.Over there music was pretty much westernized and boring,everyone doing SAME thing.I used to work vintage music store. my boss always told me about America.(He loves soooo much America!)so,first I visited L.A by myself with NO ENGLISH,stayed hotel,walked around sunset strip.Then I really liked what I saw.
It was A BIG LIFE CHANGE moving to U.S.A.
I have A samurai damashii which is a strong brave heart,so that I'm surviving to live this 180dgree totally different culture.I'm over culture shock (ummm....I'm still having?),get used to unfriendly casher,can drive left handle car and learn some bad English,get used to NOT take SERIOUS thing people say.

My parents always make a fun about me :My reaction or response are always one tempo late,
so they were wondering,how I can play music in the band.
love healthy food,Japanese food,coffee at late sunday after noon,collecting Hello Kitty goods,window shopping at Vintage store,talking new people after the show, I love tall boots makes me feel I'm tall.love the ocean.

I requested "STAR inlay"instead of normal round one.and body and neck shape is JAZZ BASS ,but it has only PB pick up and one volume control nob.cuz I like "SIMPLE".

I think that time Tramdriver changed name to "Rayon"
( will sergent from Echo and bunnymen named it.)

same time I was playing the band "Bitch Box" had lawyer who work for Linkin park.
Met producer:Roy Thomas baker (Queen,the cars)
He came to rehearsal a couple times,but he was just sitting there and record our rehearsal to his small 4tr machine.
no advice or whatsoever,so I was like is he really king of producer:"Roy Thomas Baker???"
