Artie Stix Chavez’s Musical Resume
Artie started laying down the beats back in 1967 as a kid with Tommy Castro in the (the Car Port Band )
He then moved to the Seattle Area were he was a founding member of the Seattle Rock Band STRUTT
And also worked in Roger Fisher’s ( Heart Guitarist) studio
He was a member of the LONG HORN band
Artie was a founding member of the WHOLE BOLIVIAN ARMY
Leaving Seattle and returning Home to the S F Bay Area
And then in 2004 Artie began yet another genre of music adding to his arsenal of diversity
...the Blues...
and in these past few years sence coming home
Artie’s had musical performances /recordings or the privlege of sharing the stage
with various award winning bands and Hall of Fame artists including;
Tommy Castro, Magic Dick (J. Geils Band) , Deanna Bogart,
Ronnie Baker Brooks, Ms.Tia Carroll, Kenny Neal, Chris Cain,
Mighty Mike Schermer (Elvin Bishop Band), Garth Webber,
Chris KID Anderson ( The Charley Musselwhite Band )
Volker Strifler ( Ford Blues Band) , Rusty Zinn, Willy G,
Jackie Payne & Steve Edmonson ,

Ron Thompson & Leonard Gill ( B.B.KING ),Johnny Nitro, Johnny Ace,Cathy Lemons, Stan Erhart, Danial Castro, Dave Workman ,Chris Cobb, Kenny Blue Ray, Johnny Cat, Eldridge "Big Cat" Tolefree & Hypnotic Blues, Sonny Rhodes,

Artie continues his Blues journey as a working drummer
in the greater S.F. Bay Area.
And is currently playing with
