San Jose. My parents were split up so I was between Saratoga and Anaheim. J.C Tunnel and Billy Erskine turned me on to Pot my best friends in 1960 in Anaheim. J.C. and The Brotherhood Of Eternal Love turned me on to my first LSD on my return from Viet Nam in 65. MY 1ST. TRIP We Tripped at Beer Can Beach in Huntington Beach. J.C. and Tommy's cousin Farmer John started the Brotherhood. He was the President of most of our car clubs and the Blue Jackets in JR High School. I sat in with my friends The California Blues Band for a gig at the Golden Bear and opened for John Hammond. He became my all time hero musician. I brought some Reefer and LSD up with J.C. and Tommy from The Brotherhood Of Eternal Love in Anaheim to Saratoga. I was a student at West Valley Collage and turned on who were to be The Psychedelic Rock and Roll Hall Of Famers, Muskrat Fun, the Syndicate of Sound, The Chocolate Watchband, Danny Fay Of The Otherside, Ken Randall and Pat Simmons of the Doobie Brothers, Koko and Micky Dolenz of the Monkeys and West Valley College in Saratoga and others. The Ackerly Tunnel Express My first of a Forest Gump journey of the newspapers and TV around the world. One of our Trips made the Los Gatos paper for Boy Girl Dope Party and Look magazine did an interview with us on LSD. LSD was Legal at that time. The Brotherhood moved to Laguna Beach, as the Church in Anaheim burned down, and started Mystic Arts World. One of the first Vegetarian, Yoga and Arts shops for Self-Awareness. I made the Laguna Paper for Hippa The Hippy Guru of The North with Greg Miller I forecast Laguna as a self-awareness creative center for the world like San Francisco. I ran into John Swan walking down Haight ST. We formed our 1st Band The Reefer Man Blues Band and a friendship was forged that spanned the globe for 40 years on the Front Lines Of The PEACE and LOVE Movement. ~ DON"T TELL US WHAT TO GROW OUT OF THE GROUND ~ We ran in to Phil Fingers Farrel a few years later an we All became life time Friends. In 1966 I moved to Pasadena to take over the Euphoria Art Gallery for Bob Thomas a Baroque Artist and Musician. I turned it into a Coffee Gallery and booked some bands. We planed the Love Ins with Tim Leary~ Owsley~ Mamas & Papas ~ Jerry Garcia ~ Long John Silver ~ Solomon ~ The Kaleidoscope ~ The Salvation Arm ~ and others. We had the 1st Love In concert for the Young Blind. We all dropped some LSD and observed flying saucers doing radical turns and maneuvers far away and someone commented for us to remember this. Do You remember that BEAR? We were arrested for having too much fun. 30 kids arrested and this is on TV and in the Newspapers. Pasadena did not like long hair. They let everyone go but me so the American Civil Liberty Union bailed me out as I used all my money to bail everyone else out. I bailed out and split. I became a fugitive for not cutting my hair and moved to San Francisco and started The Aquarian Temple ULC in the Haight Ashbury Summer Of Love 1967. Ken Randall and Chris Clever and I. I changed my name to Chris Wheat as I was a fugitive for riding a train and not cutting my hair. We studied under Reverend Ray Broshiers to get our credentials. The TV and Newspapers called us the First Hippy Ministers and we did anti war rallies and got people out of the draft. We helped fund The Free Clinic, Gay Press, Straight Theater, on the board for Police Community Relations from the Haight Ashbury and passed out LSD at the LOVE INs and Concerts Free, from Owsley thru the Hells Angels. Colored coded for the performances of Purple Haze for Jimmy Hendrix. Pink for Pink Floyd. White for The Velvet Underground. My Brother Tommy T. T. Tunnel and Steve Choo Choo King brought The Orange Sunshine From The Brotherhood Of Eternal Love to pass out free also. All Things From The Mother Earth Are Sacred.
