An "in demand" music industry professional for over 20 years, Lee Thompson has toured and recorded with a diverse mix of local and international artists. His talents have taken him to the stages of such renown venues as The Fillmore Auditorium and the main stage of the Monterey Blues Festival.=================================================== Career Highlights include; Opening for the Neville Brothers with Trudy Lynn in 2005 (J.C. Smith Band). Playing for a crowd of 50,000 at the Portland Waterfront Blues Festival. Opening for Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown shortly before his death in 2004 (One More Mile). Being onstage with John Lee Hooker Jr. at the San Francisco Blues Festival tribute to his father in 2004. Feature articles in Modern Drummer, and Bam Magazines.================================================== =Most recent accomplishments include; Working with Bay Area band Spanking Katinka. Fronted by former Warner Brothers' recording artist Robert Pendergrast, the sound of Spanking Katinka was described as "whiskey drenched Tom Petty" by the San Francisco press. Lee spent the spring and summer tour season of 2005 drumming for Bay Area Blues luminary J.C. Smith, whose high energy blues/R&B band featured Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Julien Vaught, and Blues diva Ella Pennywell. The J.C. Smith Band was voted Blues Band of the Year by the Bay Area Blues Society for 2005.===================================================Arti sts Lee Thompson has worked with over the years include; South City Blues Band, J.C.
