The Duchess, Battersea Park Road has been tipped as one of the best Music Venues to hit South London in years. In the beautiful surroundings of this cosy bar, this intimate venue with a balcony overlooking the stunning historical Battersea Power Station will leave you breathless.Attracting some the capitals finest young talent. The Duchess, Battersea Park Road is building a reputation as one the best sessions in town... The evening starts just before 8.45pm with performers getting their name down for 8pmFantastic PA, guitars, keyboards, mics and leads are all provided. Guidance for the evening is provided by Irish Singer songwriter Will O Durkan who opens up the session with some very lively jazzy, folk numbers. This is usually accompanied by the gracious Laura Raggatt on fiddle. Feel free to get in contact. THE DUCHESS LIVE SHOWCASE takes place on the last Thursday of every month. This Showcase is for Artists who are going somewhere with their music, moving and shaking on the London music scene. Performers who impress at the Open Mic Sessions are invited to play The DUCHESS LIVE SHOWCASE.
