ABOUT US
We are a Indie /Rock band who originate from Lincolnshire U.K.
We are now based in Englands fine capital. We all live in a house in South West London.
Which will have one of those blue plaques on it in about 15 years time, saying we lived there. (dream on)
Rob - Guitar & Vocals, Will - Bass & Vocals, Ben - Drums & Vocals.

Getting out there and playing our songs to as many people as possible, having a laugh and enjoying what we do.
Over the past few years we have had the honour, of being a support band for
Roland Gift and the Fine Young Cannibals,
Alabama 3
Lene Lovich,
Midge Ure,
Sigue Sigue Sputnik
David Ford,
Fiction Plane , The Sessions
and Si Connelly .
We played Guilfest in 2006 & 2007 in the Rock Sound Cave & Surrey Advertiser stage.

Who knows we may be back there in 2008
********************************************************
So who the fcuk are this band?
Eastroad have been playing gigs around the U.K. for the past 6 years. There have been a couple of changes in the line-up during that time.
Originally from Lincolnshire the band decided to move south to the capital in the summer of 2006. The band members and their roadie Bart who is from Poland live in a house in South London.
They are the two brothers Rob and Will, who in the long-standing tradition of brothers in bands argue and fight. (Mostly with each other) Liam and Noel Gallagher, Ray and Dave Davies you get the picture. Ben who is also a D.J. also referees some of the brothers slanging matches.
Rob is the person that writes all of the Eastroad material and is the main voice of Eastroad, is studying for a masters degree
Will is Robs younger Brother; he plays bass and shares quite a lot of the vocals with Rob.
Resting actor, currently working for a Media/Publishing Company in West London
Ben is the man behind the drum kit, he also provides backing vocals on a number of the songs.
Has now finished studying at Drum Tech. Now works as a fitness instructor & Lifeguard.
Eastroad started life as a four piece band. Since mid 2006 the band have been gigging as a three piece outfit. It's working well so we are not going to change it yet.
Here is a email we recieved after we did The Pleasure Unit in London
Happy new year.
Thanks for coming to London. London needs to hear a refreshingly different sound which was so evident in your music and in your manner of dressing. As much I love babyshambles, the subways etc - they are all die hard rock n rollers who sing energetic music and looked pretty similar. so it was good to see a different type of act.
Annika,
Band promoter
London
We have been having a fantastic time at Her Majesty's Prisons
with
Les Chappell
In support of
BILLY BRAGG's " Jail Guitar Doors"
project

Looking forward to doing many more.
Before that though, we are playing at the
Glastonbury Festival on the Sunday night @ 21.00
then doing a couple of shows for Alan McGee at his fantastic London Club nights, this one with the legend Belowski
