Daren Callow is a singer, songwriter and guitarist with a growing reputation for performances that combine strong rhythmical elements and clever use of technology with thought-provoking lyrics that range from the deeply emotional to the humorous. His electro-acoustic live shows combine everything from a low-tech tambourine through to ultra high-tech Boss LoopStation and TC Helicon VoiceLive voice processor to create a surprisingly powerful and panoramic sound.
"One man and his guitar, Daren Callow presents us with the vivid imagery and broken emotions that one would expect to hear from an acoustic rock performer. However, the great difference is that both the song writing and performance are a cut above the rest. By using effects on the vocals, the songs take on a new life of their own and really give you something to think about. The songs are original and he has avoided the clichés that make acoustic rock, at times intolerable. Rhythmic and soulful, Daren Callow captured the mood and imagination of the crowd."
