About Me

Ryo Noritake was born in Nagoya, Japan. At the age of 7, he began to play the piano. Mostly classical music. He started to play the drum-set when he was 14. He played mostly Hard Rock, Punk. During the first year of the university, he decided his mind to make his life with music. He quit university and entered Koyo Conservatory in Nagoya, where he started to play Jazz. In 2004, he received scholarship from Berklee College of Music. In Fall 2005, he entered Berklee College of Music. He studied with Hal Crook, Ian Froman, Terri Lyne Carrington, George Garzone, JoAnne Brackeen and many other teachers.
