kohei kamuro

Kohei Kamuro is a guitarist and composer, born and raised in Chiba, Japan. He started playing guitar at age 14. At first, his interest was in playing Folk and Rock music however as he got to know its beauty of musical improvisation his interest was soon moved to jazz. He took private lesson with Masaaki Mizuguchi for 3 years up to 2003, during that period he started his music career as playing at local clubs with his own band. also was awarded a scholarship to attend Berklee College Of Music. In fall 2003, he entered Berklee College Of Music. He studied with Bruce Saunders, Sheryl Bailey, Hal Crook, George Garzone, Dave Santoro and many others. In 2007, He moved to New York City, Performing and teaching.
