Tomas Babjaczuk

Tomas Babjaczuk ( 6/14/1983 ) was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He started playing the drums at the age of 12. He first studied with Luis de La Torre and Jose Luis Colzanni, and later with Fernando Martinez when he enrolled in the Escuela De Musica Contemporanea (Buenos Aires) where he graduated with honors. There, he won a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music. Two years later he arrived in Boston where he studied with Terri Lyne Carrington , Ralph Peterson, Kenwood Dennard,Hal Crook,Jamey Haddad,etc.He graduated from Berklee College of music,and he is back in Buenos Aires performing and recording with different musicians. He played, recorded and shared sessions with artists such as :Juan Pollo Raffo, Alan Plachta, Leon Gieco, Juan Carlos Baglietto, Oscar Feldman, Victor Mendoza, Orlando Artusso, Victor Skoruspky, Andres Rotmitrovsky , Dave Santoro, Phill Grenadier , Among others.
