About Me

improviser, composer, arranger, piano, keys, melodica...
Brought up to my Dad’s LPs and cassettes in a multicultural family, my attraction towards music led me to meet enthusiastic and passionate teachers who beautifully knew how to inspire love for the art and motivation. I started performing and writing as a member of NJR, a jazz trio two fellow musicians and I decided to form at the local conservatoire in Mennecy! Many rehearsals, jam sessions, contests, and concerts followed until I was awarded a scholarship from Berklee College of Music, where I studied Piano Performance and Jazz Composition. This experience was a great opportunity to further pursue my dream of sharing and learning: I was indeed fortunate enough to meet artists for whom I have great respect and admiration (Russell Ferrante, Meshell Ndegeocello, Dave Douglas, Marcus Miller...) as well as study and/or perform with musicians who have been true mentors, guiding me on the ever-sinuous musical path (Laszlo Gardony, Mitch Haupers, David Fiuczynski, Tiger Okoshi, Greg Hopkins, Joe Lovano, Danilo Pérez...) Last but not least, I got to make music with a myriad of talented students (such as Perla Almendra, the other half of MUNDuO) who will hopefully become lifelong musical companions…
