This is my myspace. Me, as in Haggai Cohen Milo. Some people call me Jatul (should be read in spanish). I am a person. I spend moset of my time around music. I play the bass, both acoustic and electric. On this myspace you can hear me play in all kinds of different situations. A lot of the music you'll find here was composed by me.
Most of the music that I play can be associated with jazz, although my inspiration and musical intention is focused more on my roots in Israel, the Middle East and in the musical traditions from that area.
My belief is that music has to carry added value. This value, this other thing, can be specific or abstract, it can have a message or a question, it can convey or create an emotional state. The important thing for me is that it means something other than just notes. This is achieved though awareness and intention.
I hope my music and every music you listen to will bring some joy and peace to your life (and to life in general).
