This is an Instrumental Project Loosly Founded in " Symphonic "Guitar Rock.Jimi Hendrix was The 1st To Pioneer this approach,which influenced a few guitar players[listed in my Influences] in the 1970's.He got the idea from Roland Kirk,Jimi was influenced by more " horn "players than guitarists in the latter part of his career.The " Guitarchestra " should be percieved as a " horn section ",imagine if James Brown had Jimi Hendrix as his horn section ? Thats the concept here,with a stronger emphasis on " Riffs";Rhythmic Patterns;Themes;and Harmonies.I " feel " what i play,its never about " notes ".Since Hip-Hop is rooted in Funk/Disco,i apply this sinaibilty to my drum programming.The" sweetness of melodic phrasing " is deeply rooted from my Miles Davis;Santana;Prince influence theres a " lyrical quality " that i have in common with them as well as Hendrix.I hope this work will appeal to a wider audience,as opposed to " just guitarists ".So enJOY and thank you for your time,thought,and consideration.EvI.
