My Interests

October 17, 2008
I pay tribute to the memory of my beautiful, beloved mother. Five years has gone since she left this world I'm in, but my loss of her never gets any easier. She is my angel and lives on in my heart forever......
I love you and miss you, Ma.

"Angels, angels, I hear them in the trees and I wish that one was me"

THE MUTS, Club Vodka, Hollywood, CA - Awesome group of guys, awesome set of songs and taping a hot video, too..... Stay tuned!

APRIL, 2008:

Photos and show reviews for All Access Magazine..... Fresh from their LA reunion show, lookout for my hot, rockin' Portland homeboys, BLACK 'N BLUE (with a very special surprise guest!), along with LA band, THE MUTS..... Fantastic shows from both these bands.....

MAY, 2008:

More "homeboys", my favorite funky bluesman, the legendary CURTIS SALGADO (www.CurtisSalgado.com) and his incredible band..... Photos and reviews from their Las Vegas and LA shows!

Celebrating the 20 year anniversary of the infamous Filthy McNasty's FM Station nightclub with lots of photos of the bands Hardly Dangerous, Vains of Jenna and PairADice.....

JUNE, 2008:

BILLY IDOL and his smokin' hot band - DEREK SHERINIAN, STEVE STEVENS, BRIAN TICHY and STEPHEN MCGRATH..... Photographing and reviewing one of the shows at the start of the tour for Billy's new cd/dvd release "The Very Best of Billy Idol - Idolize Yourself". Also interviewing amazing keyboardist, DEREK SHERINIAN and drummer, BRIAN TICHY..... both smokin' hot - a true highlight to meet with these two great talents!!!

JULY, 2008:

I'll be out of commission for several weeks while I celebrate 4th of July and my birthday recuperating from yet another surgery.....

July addition (depending on my health!):
The 1st Annual MILE HIGH MUSIC FESTIVAL in Denver, Colorado - - featuring headliners TOM PETTY & THE HEARTBREAKERS, THE BLACK CROWES, STEVE WINWOOD, JOHN MAYER, THE DAVE MATTHEWS BAND and many others - 2 days (July 19th & 20th), 4 stages - I'll be there shooting pics, reviewing shows and loving every minute of it!

Also in July, the blues and rock legend, JOE COCKER, playing Denver's extraordinary outdoor amphitheatre, Red Rocks! What an awesome combination of music and natural elements.....

Catching back up with phenomenal bassist MARCO MENDOZA playing with LYNCH MOB - previously scheduled photos - now happening in Houston, Texas at (can you say HOT ???) Rock The Bayou, Labor Day weekend.....

OCTOBER, 2008

The San Francisco Blues Festival..... CURTIS SALGADO & his big 12 piece band, RUTHIE FOSTER & her "all girl" band, MICHAEL BURKS. BARBARA LYNN, RICK ESTRIN & THE NIGHTCATS, amazing "down home, old style" blues with 93 year old DAVID "HONEYBOY" EDWARDS, and others all with their smokin' hot blues (sorry guys, too much beautiful San Francisco sunshine foreced me to end each day early - no Elvin Bishop or Johnny Winter).....

Watch for my pics, reviews & interviews in:

AllAccessMagazine.com

and.....

ReflectionsofDarkness.com

One of my new fave videos..... Hey, how'd my voice end up in Patty Smyth's throat anyway? :o) :o) :o)

Another of my favorites,
EXTREME-"Get The Funk Out"

The HOT, HOT, (and still) HOT Curtis Salgado - doing one of my fave songs, "You Love Me And I Don't Blame You" - this one is a classic Curtis performance from the "old" days..... Love ya, Curtis, you are too still a "hottie" no matter what you say!

Some VERY talented and great friends of mine - check out their sites, you won't be disappointed!!!
