Well I am officially a published author. I have written many short stories and a crime/gangster novel, which I love very much and one day I may publish. My true calling in writing fiction and one that I get totally lost in when my creative juices are flowing is the Supernatural/Horror Genre.
I write from my own life experiences, but by using metaphors with vampires, werewolves, witches and demons a whole new world of exciting and terrifying opportunities are explored and really our world is no more scary than a furry, fluffy, carrot crunching bunny rabbit compared to what these supernatural beasts have to endure all their lives here in The Beyond!
BOOK 2 IN THE BEYOND SERIES... DUE ON SALE MAY 08

A stunning debut novel.. Waterstones Bookstore
I was quite bowled over by this novel. This adventure into the realm of magical realism is an ambitious, encompassing, sweep into creative imagination... A splendid mixture of witchcraft and mobile phones! We have brave new people in a brave new world.
Alison uses an approach that embraces a highly individual creative fantasy and as a result has produced a multitextured example of a hugely popular genre. This novel is perhaps not so much pure fantasy as metaphor, imagination, with a glimpse into an alternative reality of someone else's creation, a land of magic and mystery.
Alison uses the power of the human creative imagination coupled with a command of languague to metaphor the human predicament. The figures that inhabit our landscape are believably ourselves in the the clothes of fantasy folk; they are not the creatures of science fiction or fantasy literature. They certainly are dynamically different to our own environment, yet similar in other ways, it is not so removed from possibility that we can't share the characters perils and adventures and feel with them.
The story is highly effective, with excellent verbal dexterities. There are effective turns of phrase and strong images all through the text and dialogue, description and situations are used to advance the narrative.
This novel is written with a hand that is both sure and light. I particularly like the writing style; right from the outset, the reader is immediately engaged and made part of the world of the writer and of these imaginative events that is confidently drafted and nowhere loses its way. It sustains itself and does not flag.
The writing is dynamic and alive. One gets the feeling that the author had as much fun and excitement writing this dynamic narrative as the reader will in the reading...The author's voice is clear and communicative. This all works well to create in the reader the willing suspension of disbelief - the most important element of fiction since the first storyteller unrolled his mat in the market square!

I think this is known in wolf circles as DEEP THROAT DOGGY STYLE!

Composed in captivating narrative and compelling dialogue, the story flows at a brisk tempo. The plot contains more than a few unexpected twists that maintains the readers interest throughout. The characters are presented in a multidimensional fashion revealing the intricacies of their unique personalities and individual agendas. Alison's highly creative style with a keen attention to detail constructs a riveting and imaginative tale.

Okay so you have read reviews from the industry, but I think the real proof in the pudding as a writer is the testimonials from the fantastic voracious readers who go out of their way to find my book, buy it, read it then take the time out to contact and tell me what they think. You guys are the best... So here are just a few of the lovely readers who had such wonderful things to say. This is what makes all the hard work worthwhile. Thank you to all of you have sent me notes of best wishes and congrats! MWWAAHHHH! XX
I have read the Didikai Witch now and thought it was brilliant. I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read next one now. On your page it says Demon Lupus is out soon so I will order my copy a.s.a.p. It's weird that when I first registered at myspace I found your page by accident and now I am a big fan and will recommend you to all my friends. I never read much fiction other than Harry Potter, but you have me hooked. (Sue (Dookie)
I've been dragging the Didikai Witch around with me for a second more detail read to get prepped for the eagerly awaited book 2. Good stuff! Sure made the plane trip from Phoenix, AZ to Indianapolis fly by, pardon the pun. All I can say is keep up doing what you're doing. I want to explore more of your world, I want to see Amethyst take on the world. (Mark Aberdeen)

Music:

Anything Rock, although Evanescence is my all time favourite band although I am still pouting after spitting my dummy out, because they cancelled their Manchester UK concert and haven't rearranged it yet. Bah Humbug!! Foo Fighters, Kasabian, Levellers, Inspiral Carpets, (ahhh to be 17 again!!), Fifth Amendment (that is if they are still going, but I like listening to their CD.) The Damned and Def Leppard (Okay okay don't laugh). MyGen Profile Generator

Movies:

Oooh where do I begin. Next to Books, films are my next favouritist subject. HORROR of course. In order of loving them. Queen of the Damned, Interview with a Vampire, Lost Boys, Stigmata, Teen Wolf (I like Michael J Fox Okay!). Films that really scared the BeeJesus outta me. Thirteen Ghosts, The Ring, Nightmare on Elm Street (I was only 13 years old at the time, I slept for a week afterwards tied to the radiator so I didn't get sucked into my bed like Johnny Depp!!)God Stuart Townsend is sooooo hot. Charlize Theron you are a lucky lucky girl! MyGen Profile Generator
"Perfect, perfect. Just burn the place Louis. Burn everything we own. Have us sleeping in a field like cattle."

Television:

Don't watch much tele: Too Much low budget reality crap on for my liking. I do watch any comedy, if I actually bother to look at a TV Guide and see that it is on. Most Haunted... I just love watching Yvette Feilding Scream like a big girls blouse! Dead Famous, because they have produced some very compelling evidence of the existence of spirits. Supernatural, although I am getting a bit bored with the monotonous story lines now, can we please find out what demon killed Dean and Sam's mother so we can move on? Oh and my favourite at the moment is Ugly Betty. Mark's charater is just Fabulous Darling. MyGen Profile Generator

Books:

Please see My Official Website for that, the list is too long and I will feel compelled to analyse each author and explain why I like them so much. MyGen Profile Generator
"Where do you think we are my Idiot friend. We are in a nice filthy cemetery."

Heroes:

Urgh! Do I have to? It's all getting a bit cheesy now! MyGen Profile Generator
